Political and community leaders from Wajir have pledged their unequivocal support for the broad-based government, thanking President William Ruto and his now erstwhile political brother Raila Odinga, for nominating former Wajir North MP Ibrahim Ahmed Abdisalan as the PS for state department for national government coordination at the office of the prime cabinet secretary.
The leadership who met in Nairobi Sunday morning, noting the current relationship between the government and the people of North Eastern is critical and would result in more nominations, even as they plan to support their alliance for the 2027 elections.
