Jamaica’s Kranium lands in Kenya for “ASK Dome” Concert

Jamaican singer Kemar Donaldson, popularly known as Kranium, has arrived in Kenya ahead of his much-anticipated concert at the ASK Dome this weekend.

The singer, known for the Ty Dollar Sign-assisted hit “Nobody Has To Know” arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) late into the night on Wednesday and was welcomed by the show’s organizers as well as several members of the Kenyan digital media fraternity.

Before his arrival, Kranium had teased his Kenyan fans on X, telling them he was coming to Kenya which elicited massive excitement ahead of his arrival and planned performance.

On 29th August, he tweeted, “Kenya… see you soon been too long!”

And again on 30th August, he wrote, “Before asking who is Kranium… Ask your girlfriend first! Oh and make sure she’s pretty… Kenya date drops soon!”

The ASK Dome concert has been organised by global entertainment company Airbeat and will see the Jamaican star thrill fans alongside musical stars Redsan, Reedah, Mista C and Kaneda.

Popular disc jockey DJ Grauchi will also perform. He will be joined on stage by fellow DJs and MCs including DJ Daffy, MC Gogo and Hype Ballo.

The November 2 show will see Kranium perform some of his biggest hits including ‘Sidung’, ‘Nobody Has To Know’, ‘Gal Policy’ and ‘Toxic’.

Known for his melodic voice and catchy music, Kranium will only be returning to Kenya as he has performed in the country several times over the last few years.

With his new album ‘In Too Deep’, Kranium is looking to expand on the outlook he’s found in his career, which revolves around the idea that different music markets have their own go-to records.

The album’s first single, “Without You,” featuring Queen Naija, is a lush record with hints of Afrobeat, dancehall reggae, and R&B sprinkled throughout.
