Police Arrest 2 more Suspects in Connection to Slain Wells Fargo HR, Willis Ayieko

DCI detectives have arrested two more suspects linked to the brutal murder of slain Wells Fargo HR Manager Willis Ayieko.

The arrests happened after the suspects were siphoned from their hideouts during a surprise operation in the Wagai area of Gem, Siaya County after police received intelligence about the suspects.

A firearm believed to be used in Ayieko’s murder was also recovered during the operation.

This arrest follows the aprehension of Victor Ouma Okoth, an initial suspect in Nairobi’s Dandora Phase IV who was whisked from his hideout in a rented house.

Detectives arrested Victor Ouma Okoth believed to be prime suspect to aid in investigation into the horrific death and what might have transpired, leading to the gruesome murder of the Wells Fargo Human Resource Manager Willis Ayieko, whose body was discovered lying lifelessly, 5 days later in a stream in Siaya, after he was abducted on his way to Kakamega to meet family after attending a burial ceremony of a friends mother in Nyamninia, Siaya County.

A week after the killing, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in a joint investigation led by a team from DCI’s Homicide, CRIB, and Operations units announced the arrest of Ouma Okoth who was apprehended in Dandora, Nairobi, after forensic evidence placed him at the crime scene following serious trailing conducted by DCI sleuths.

CCTV footage later captured two men abandoning his Ford Ranger double-cabin pickup at a fuel station in Butere, Sabatia, Kakamega County, eloping by boarding a motorbike to disappear in thin air.
