Unfortunately, by the time the principal and his team arrived at the scene, the victim was already stabbed and terminally wounded.

“By the time we were arriving at the dormitory, one of our students by the name Ngugi Muciiri, candidate index number 29, had already been stabbed in the lower abdomen and even the intestines were out,” he added.

On her part, Eunice Nyaboke, the mother of the candidate, teary lamented the death of her son saying it was a shocker to her family.

She noted that it was painful to educate a student for four years and only when he was about to complete his KCSE exams, he passes away.

“As a parent from form one to form four, you expect to go and harvest fruits at the end of four years, then all of a sudden, you are called and told your child is dead,” the parent said tears welling in her eyes.
